Welcome to Thorn & Rose Counseling, where the focus is on helping teenagers and young adults find purpose, identity, and freedom. We are all unique, and all have parts of our story that we like, and parts that we don't.

We are story-telling creatures, and sometimes when we are struggling with mental illness or change, the stories we tell ourselves can be really negative. Depression, anxiety, perfectionism, grief, and stress are just a few thorns that we come into therapy with.

Located in Frisco, TX, we serve teens and young adults for anxiety, depression, trauma, relational issues, and career.

If you are experiencing persistent feelings of sadness, anxiety, or overwhelm, struggling with significant life changes, facing relationship difficulties, or finding it hard to cope with day-to-day stresses, therapy can offer valuable support and strategies. Additionally, therapy can be beneficial if you find yourself stuck in negative thought patterns or behaviors that are impacting your quality of life. • Q: How much is therapy and how does insurance work?
A: The cost of therapy sessions ranges from $120 to $150 per 50-minute session. We understand that affordability is a significant concern for many clients, so we strive to offer competitive rates while maintaining high-quality care. If you have health insurance, know that we are considered an out-of-network provider, meaning we do not bill directly with your insurance, but can provide superbills for you to then submit to your provider for potential reimbursement. If you want to see about reimbursement rates, we recommend contacting your insurance company to verify your mental health benefits, including out-of-network coverage details and deductible minimum. If you have any questions about fees or insurance, please don't hesitate to contact our office; we're here to help make your therapy experience as smooth and stress-free as possible.

Our approach is client-centered; we work collaboratively with you to develop a personalized treatment plan. The frequency and length of therapy are tailored to support your unique path to mental wellness. Regular evaluations are conducted to assess progress and adjust the plan as needed, ensuring that therapy is as effective and time-efficient as possible for you. We recommend starting with at least 4 weeks of weekly therapy, and then going from there with your therapist to develop a plan for treatment.
